Palestinian activist and author Ahed Tamimi has been released from Israeli prison as part of the exchange of captives between Israel and Hamas.

Ahed Tamimi revealed that her Israeli captors told her “we have your father in prison and if you speak, we’ll kill him” upon her release. I’m deeply disturbed by how visibly traumatized and worn down she appears coming out of Israeli prison, where we know she was beaten.
