@DimitriNakassis @carlosfnorena 😂We were going to run with it at first and designed this prototype to the logo... but then we scaled back and kept only a silhouette of a dagger to represent our lethal combo of scholarship & humor 😄 Too much? Too little?🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

dan diffendale @DimitriNakassis J. Clements Charles Sturge @agoranomos Christopher W. Jones Yep, Gytheio is well within the modern boundaries of Lakonian Mani (purple... Messenian Mani is in blue).

Also, Gytheio is considered the administrative capital of Mani, while Areopoli is the cultural capital. E.g. all the archy finds from Mani end up in the Gytheio apothiki!

@helenlmorales @DimitriNakassis Dan-el Padilla Peralta @reginalatinae Burying our heads in the sand and not critiquing the discipline for the sake of preserving programs is only going to ensure their demise later. The public isn’t going to be convinced by a couple of internal changes we work out amongst ourselves. They won’t even notice them.
