Little Flacco Joseph is back from the vet after getting those stitches removed.

I was so proud of him and they couldn’t believe how fast and well he healed.

Again, Thank you all for the love and support. It’s like I’ve got a whole new family here. Truly amazing hearts.

I believe I will write a book about my Off Grid Journey. I don’t think the writing will be as hard as knowing what format and publishing info. That part scares me. I do think I’ve got a good and inspiring story to share. Thanks for the advice.

Today Little Flacco goes back to the vet to remove his stitches. He’s really done well considering the emergency surgery was severe. Thanks to all of you for helping us through this emergency. We could never have raised enough that fast without your help. Bless you all!

I’d like to write a book about my crazy life and ending up going off the grid. I don’t know where to start. Never dreamt this could even happen. Being a workaholic led to my Heart failure. That was the beginning of the end of my old life stuck in traffic trying to pay bills.

Since I do believe in the Afterlife and Reincarnation, I don’t really morn my Mother as some do. She’s proven over and over that she’s still with me. Pay attention to the signs they send to you. Because they do.

Life off the first electrical grid is a simple life. We don’t need a microwave to cook, we use a propane stove/oven. We use wood for heat and a propane refrigerator. We basically turn 12volt of sunlight into 120volts of electric. The Inverter transforms solar into electricity.

Today is cloudy and it’s a low solar day which means we have to switch over to back up power to run the cabin. This unit runs the house for 24 hours. We have another one just in case. They cost less to run than a generator & make no noise. That’s my Off Grid Lesson of the day.

It’s still hard to believe how much this little rescue puppy has grown. He’s now bigger than his brother Zeke and we suspect he’s 1/2 giraffe .

Spotted these guys on the way back up the mountain today. It never gets old.

He’s getting huge ! We’re kinda thinking a mix of Anatolian Shepherd and Red Heeler. Because of the sheep and cattle here I have to think that’s his backstory. He’s been such a good boy and grown so fast on only 2 months.
