The reality is that most of us are working by 6:45 a.m. and don't quit until around 4, but then take work home most nights/on weekends. And don't say 'you have summers off'. Not exactly. And we work more hrs in 10 mos. than many.

Exactly. Medicine involves life and death decisions in an instant after a minimum of 7 years of postgraduate training at 0 or minimum pay, unlike the 3 years of law school which has no on call time.
