We had a brilliant day at the #Rotherham Roots Carnival! We love watching families get lost in our river dipping trays exploring all sorts of new & wonderful river beasties! Fantastic parade of river creatures led by Reign, the Spirit of the River Don, and Farrah the Fox too 💚

Exciting to see the focus on removing obstacles in national media! It's a cost-effective way to restore rivers. Explore our weir removal projects at Slitting Mill Weir on the River Rother (buff.ly/3J8X67Z) and Stocksbridge Weir on the River Don (buff.ly/3PUToTh).

We were Wheelie shocked last week when one of our trustees sent us this picture of a Chesterfield bin in Doncaster! While it's disheartening to witness, it highlights the impressive ability of rivers to carry matter!

This morning, our fantastic team of volunteers joined us at Warmsworth Cemetery for a litter pick. The lovely weather made it easier for us to gather 11 bags of rubbish.
