Even before sin entered the human story, God, in his sovereign providence, provided the remedy—the blood of Christ.

Christ drank the cup of God’s wrath, offering his blood on the cross, as our propitiation declaring our sins “paid in full!”

This is the gospel.

We will never hear anything more surpassingly glorious than the truth that Jesus Christ is a willing Savior of sinners.

Through the blood of Christ on the cross, not only does He pay the penalty we deserve, but He also grants us the righteousness we do not deserve.
