Thank you Danielle Wood for joining us at e61 Institute. It was great to discuss topics like the research institute landscape in Australia, how to generate policy impact and academic rigour in our research and how to improve diversity in economics.

Prof. Imran Rasul led a fascinating session at e61 on IFS-Deaton Review of Inequality. One compelling theme emerged: 'the long shadow of luck.' More research is needed in Australia and e61 plans to research intergenerational inequality.
