Labour-led South Lanarkshire Council didn't carry out an equality impact assessment before deciding to axe a handful of libraries, some in the most deprived areas. It now appears they haven't told councillors about updated plans.

They should reverse these cuts & listen to reason

Great to be out in East Kilbride today with activists as we kick off the campaign make to Scotland and East Kilbride & Strathaven Tory-free.

A choice between the Tories, or Labour implementing Tory policy, is no choice at all.

It's only The SNP that will stand up for Scotland.

Let's not forget that East Kilbride's last Labour MP joined the Tories and featured in their campaign literature.

We agree. She was calling for a by-election a few short weeks ago, so let's have one.

Today South Lanarkshire Labour, supported by their pals in the Tories & Liberal Democrats increased council tax across South Lanarkshire Council by 5.5%.
