Sad to hear that some people have had such negative experiences 🙁.

We all know that medicine is an art (not just science) + can be unpredictable!

Whatever the outcome there is no excuse for not giving the crew a friendly welcome and thanking them for their hard work.

My rule for any pre-alert is 'Prepare for the worst but hope for the best'.

If the patient has deteriorated further then you are ready to cope with it. If they've improved then everyone should be pleased 😀!
