We understand from
Michael Gove office that warranty provider
Acasta Europe Ltd who were supposed to have provided insurance on this disastrous building but so far this has only meant printing a piece of paper when it was purchased - have been referred to the
Financial Conduct Authority
Guy Lynn We were advised by Department for Levelling Up, Housing & Communities to apply to the tribunal but unfortunately received the below in response, Stephen Greenhalgh.

Are you a shared owner❓
Do you think this will help you❓

👷 Redrow plc has set aside £200m for remediating life-critical fire safety defects on up to 109 buildings, but only a small proportion has been spent so far.
Last month we went to their AGM in North Wales to speak to the Board 👇

Appreciate your contribution to this BBC London story Stephen Greenhalgh but the building safety act “should” ensure is totally different to it “does” ensure. Can you clarify ?
A few weeks ago, we asked Department for Levelling Up, Housing & Communities what data &proof banks had provided of leaseholders of flats with fire safety issues being higher risk, that was causing banks to be so risk averse in lending to us.
DLUHC couldn't answer as UK Finance Building Societies Association members had not provided any.
What will happen to many thousands of Non-Qualifying Leaseholders who aren't covered by the 'protections'?
🤔 How will they *ever* sell or remortgage their properties, if even these 9 lenders will not 'consider' offering a mortgage?
We are all ears, Lee Rowley.
#NonQualifyingLH
Department for Levelling Up, Housing & Communities They’ll only offer a mortgage if your MA plays ball and provides all the requested documents.. unlikely to happen. And good luck finding a solicitor. Not good enough. We’re still trapped.
Department for Levelling Up, Housing & Communities Don’t forget the minimum 6 months it will take for all the paperwork to be completed and of course the added costs and the hope that the purchaser won’t throw in the towel prior to exchange and the whole chain collapse leaving the seller with another legal bill for a non sale
Department for Levelling Up, Housing & Communities The initial six lenders still won't lend on buildings covered by leaseholder protections unless there is a remediation plan in place. And even when there is a plan in place this does not guarantee lending.
We've been waiting for 6 years. And we're still stuck.
