Yesterday officers from #StanwayRPU conducted an operation in the #Tendring district to target Fatal 5 offences. Motorists were stopped for excess speed, not wearing seatbelts, mobile phone use whilst driving and driving without insurance. #VisionZero #Fatal5
Last, week as part of our month-long road safety campaign, we completed speed enforcement on one of #Chelmsford newest roads - and six speeding motorists were issued traffic offence reports.

Last week officers from #StanwayRPU stopped this motorcycle in the area of #MarksTey . Officers discovered that the rider didn't have the correct driving licence, wasn't insured and its road tax expired over a year ago. The rider was reported and bike seized. #RoadSafety

This Ford Focus was seen in #Basildon by Chigwell roads policing officers. Checks show that its insurance expired in January and has no road tax. Vehicle seized and the #DVLA notified. Drive Insured #Fatal5 #VisionZero
Officers from #StanwayRPU stopped this Mini for a speeding offence in #Uttlesford . The driver was uninsured, meaning the vehicle was seized and now faces nine penalty points being added to their driving licence. We are working to reduce uninsured drivers on the roads of Essex.
