Detectives investigating a serious assault in Pier Avenue, #Clacton , are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.

Officers were called shortly before 1am on Friday 19 April.

A man’s been arrested on suspicion of drug driving and aggravated burglary following work by one of our specialist teams.

Officers stopped a vehicle in Ardleigh shortly after 11.05pm yesterday (Sun 7 April) which was linked to an earlier burglary.

Yesterday, whilst officers were on foot patrol in #Clacton town centre, they came across an insecure vehicle, after carrying out routine checks it was established the vehicle didn’t have any insurance.

Another uninsured motor vehicle off our roads!
Whilst officers were patrolling #Jaywick they located a moped that had been reported for being driven around the area in an antisocial manner.
The rider was driving without a valid licence and insurance – Moped seized!
