As a teenager, my teachers kept a secret for me and, in many ways, they're the reason I'm here and even part-way intact. When our Principal told my parents about me without my consent, I was kicked out. This is how you increase youth homelessness — at the expense of their rights.

After complete silence following the Higgs/Hogan debacle in NB, perhaps Tim Houston and Becky Druhan will find the strength to speak out against terrible policies like these that are giant steps backwards.

Whenever you hear someone mention 'back to basics' it is important to ask them to describe just what they mean.

Day 15 of the CUPE strike & kids w/ disabilities in Halifax Regional Centre for Education are down 75 hours of school time. Do you suppose the Nova Scotia Gov. is even keeping track? That’s 600 kids without access to the right of education - just so you’re aware during this Access Awareness Week here in NS.
