I'm breathless waiting for this one!

Just wrote my first letter to an editor if ever such a long time, but enough.

I saw this and it was EXACTLY like this growing up in Australia (probably still is), right down to the man getting all the praise for how well he cooked the meat. I used to find these strict gender roles infuriating and I remember my French bf telling me how weird it all was.

Absolutely the government could sort this out, and help those caught unawares - and doing so would be far cheaper in the long run than leaving carers (and their relatives) exhausted, indebted, or homeless. theguardian.com/society/2024/a…

I'm beyond proud that my last business contract was to write a case for support for this institute and its remarkable leaders and staff. It's a long haul, curing Parkinson's. Thanks to them for hanging in there.

What glorious singing from St John's Voices on BBC Radio 3 this am. Please, there must be a way to preserve this choir. I’m of the opinion that communal singing is our biggest weapon against the mental health crisis facing our younger generations. We need more choirs, not fewer.
