The launch of the ‘EURES Report on Labour Shortages and Surpluses’ is live!

The Executive Director of the European Labour Authority Cosmin Boiangiu opened it outlining how EURES can support labour mobility as a solution to labour shortages and surpluses across Europe today.

✔️We discussed how to support employers to comply with the rules & tackle #UndeclaredWork in the EU at the #undeclaredworkplatform meeting by ELA.

We shared ideas, solutions, good practices & challenges and also planned our 2025 work plan to ensure fair work conditions in the 🇪🇺

German & Austrian concerted joint inspection in Berlin to tackle undeclared work, illegal employment, fake posting in #construction . Together with Finance Minister Christian Lindner committed to step up enforcement measures to protect fair competition & labour mobility in the EU

💡ELA, together with the European Commission, gathered over 100 participants today in this Forum on #postingOfWorkers .

We shared insights on the policy & enforcement aspects related to the posting of workers, aiming to identify the main challenges & developing strategies to face them

🚨8 joint inspections checked 26 construction sites across the EU 🚨
