44 million Americans — including 13 million children — are food insecure.

Meanwhile, America's 813 billionaires are now worth a combined $5.7 trillion.

Our problem isn’t an issue of resources.

Our problem is ever-expanding wealth inequality.

The world's 2,781 billionaires are now worth $14.2 trillion. This is the combined GDP of 150 countries.

If they stack their wealth in dollar bills, they’d get to the moon and back ―twice!

Turns out they don’t need those spaceships after all.

America has 813 billionaires. More than any other country in the world.

They have a combined net worth of $5.7 trillion.

Meanwhile, at least 65% of Americans are living paycheck to paycheck.

That insane amount of wealth inequality is a policy failure.

IRS funding is a good thing because it helps the agency go after rich tax cheats.

It also helps the agency better serve taxpayers like you who actually pay what they owe.

Why are Republicans trying to gut the IRS?

Because they care more about their rich benefactors than you.

The so-called 'Trump tax cuts' of 2017 are set to expire next year—and many of the same Republicans who cite our growing national debt as a rationale for cutting Social Security and Medicare are fighting to make Trump's cuts permanent. motherjones.com/politics/2024/…

The inevitable trillionaire isn't because rich people are getting smarter or savvier at business. It’s a story of congressional capture and decades of policy failures.

This is bad for everyone. motherjones.com/politics/2024/…

The government will never tax the rich as much as (let alone more than) they tax poor & working people.

That's because the government is the rich.

To tell the powers that be to tax the rich is to tell them to tax themselves.

No, they will always tax you to profit themselves.
