Ruang volcano this afternoon. From the photo it seems like the eruption has decreased in intensity since yesterday, and no apparent ash cloud visible.

Significant earthquake overnight in western Japan just off west coast of Shikoku. M6.4 with seismic intensity of Shindo 6- capable of causing damage, throwing stuff off shelves etc.

UNBELIEVABLE footage of the Ruang volcano erupting in Indonesia. It just had an extremely powerful eruption with ash clouds potentially punching into the stratosphere at 19,000 meters. A tsunami warning is also now in effect due to the powerful blast.

Monstrous eruption underway at Ruang volcano, just north of Sulawesi, Indonesia. I’ve never seen estimated ash cloud tops of 63,000ft / 19,000m before in Asia. Clearly visible on IR satellite imagery too.
