My 12 yr old did a blacksmithing taster session yesterday. The blacksmith who took the session said he’s got natural aptitude, a sensible attitude and enough strength to do a 1/2 day course that is designed for 18+ yr olds. But he’s in bottom sets in maths & English at school. 1/
