Proud of Caroline for speaking up on this issue. A huge petition, backed by the public and bravely championed by Esther Rantzen , led to this debate and shows that the time has come to give people in the UK better choices at the end of our lives.

I don't want to become the “bench person” of Oxford, but this one on Boundary Brook Road may be my new favourite (after another low blood sugar) where I was stopped by six people cycling/walking past to tell me “good luck”, “you've got my vote”, and “I'm joining the Green Party!”

This went out prime time on BBC1 at 8pm eeek! I hope my ambitions, aims and true belief that a fairer society is possible came across, despite the nerves!

We have to level the playing field, and make things more equal. A better, brighter (and greener!) future is within reach.

The chair of Oxford’s new anti-LTN party posted a series of tweets which cast doubt on climate change, suggested ivermectin as a way to “beat Covid”, and claimed “there is a push to centralised dystopian control”.
