The Junior Doctors have announced a four-day walkout from 7am on Friday 11 August and 7am Tuesday 15 August. Consultants will strike on 24 and 25 August.

The lowest paid MPs have seen their pay packets swell by over £20,000 over the last 14 years, with the rise this April representing a 31.7% cash terms increase compared to 2010/11 levels

Over the same period Drs including GPs have seen theirs fall 26%
