OH THANK GOD, some bloody sanity restored.

Those who know anything about the Sovereign Citizen movement will see this as alarming.

Either Poilievre understands who/what he's legitimizing and does so gladly, or he's woefully unprepared to handle extremism in this country.

Poilievre told a sovereign citizen convoy group camped out at the Nova Scotia / New Brunswick group that he saw them on the side of the highway as he was driving back from PEI and decided to stop and “say hello.”

“Everyone’s happy with what you’re doing,” Poilievre says.

I mean, this is basically right. The COVID example is one that got washed away in the flood of the pandemic news, but Poilievre didn’t want the government to give money to people as the virus impacted so many parts of the economy. It would have been disastrous.

You literally just voted for an anti-carbon pricing motion.
