Fabulous news for a wonderful team. So pleased to see Royal Berkshire Maternity & Neonatal Voices mentioned in the report. I was chair till September last year and took part in the CQC visit, and am thrilled to have been a part of the quality improvement work which has been highlighted in the report.
Giving her first talk in her new role as National Clinical Director for Neonatology for NHSE, Ngozi Edi-Osagie giving the last presentation of the day at the #SENeonatal event and taking us through the neonatal critical care review.
Dr Reema Garegrat sharing about the Comet trial looking at interventions to reduce HIE in babies at the #SENeonatal event. Such important work with lasting effects for those babies as they grow up and navigate school and life.
'Data helps us make a difference' - Prof Sam Oddie of the National Neonatal Audit Programme National Neonatal Audit Programme (NNAP) showing how knowing the figures can aid in improving care and outcomes at the #SENeonatal event.
Dr Dr Jacinta Cordwell and Dr Siobhan Higgins talking about supporting neonatal parents and staff psychologically across the South East with training, padlets, resources and dedicated in-unit psychologists.

Great to hear about ‘Midwife Jamie’ and her YouTube channel, helping internationally educated midwives transition to U.K. midwifery practice by sharing her experiences. Great way of sharing and giving back 💪🏽☺️ #MidwifeJamie
