Our page has been quiet, but our herd is thriving. Soon, the green will come, coats will shed, and we'll be preparing for our newest herd members. We can't wait to introduce them!

Wild horses embody the spirit of freedom and resilience, but earning their trust requires patience and respect. 📷 Building trust with our herd takes time, and for many, human touch will never be possible. That's ok. We aim for progress, not perfection.

Christmas came early! Our highrisk herd has grown to 236 and 193 of them live at Engler Canyon. More urgent need mustangs are soon on their way, and as our herd grows, so do costs. Your support makes all the difference!

This page has been quiet, but it's not a home! A new (human) baby has joined the fam 💝 We're still getting back to posting regularly, but the herd, landscape, and wildlife are all doing well! Here are a few recent pics of those we treasure so deeply!

Wild Horse Stallion cut off from water, tried to get through a cattle grate trying to reach the water that he could scent in the air one mile away, his family of nine watched as he succumbed through horrific pain, broken legs, 90+ degree heat, his family died from thirst.

I don’t typically share stuff like this, but his water/grass comments are spot on! Also travelling through wild horse range; It’s one of many reasons we don’t allow horseback riders.
