Today we visited the Epsom Islamic Centre to mark EID and engaged with members of the community. The warm reception from the community made us feel truly welcomed.

On Tuesday the 2nd of April a warrant was executed on the Longmead in Epsom where an amount of suspected class A drugs was recovered. A male was arrested on suspicion of possession of class A drugs with the Intent to supply who remains on bail whilst the drug is identified.

On Thursday last week our #SPCasualtyReduction Officer was on Epsom High Street. He issued 10 x Traffic Offence Reports (TOR's) to drivers for phone use, 1 x TOR for dangerous carriage of passengers - 2 children in the same seat and completely unrestrained! #Fatal5 #RoadSafety

We occasionally have the opportunity to engage with the smaller and delightful members of our community. A chance to say hello and to spend time educating the children in what we do. They love seeing the equipment, sitting in our Police vehicles and best of all hearing the Siren!

#SPCasualtyReduction Officer stopped this white van on #EpsomRoad ... the driver had no licence, no insurance and was found to be working against the conditions on their visa. The driver was arrested and interviewed by immigration officers.

Yesterday, #SPCasualtyReduction Officer conducted #SpeedEnforcement + #SpeedChecks on #ChessingtonRoad and outside Danetree #PrimarySchool . Several persons were issued #Tickets - children not being strapped in, speeding, using their phone while driving and number plate offences.
