FLO welcomes 22 South African women to the Solar Mama training program at Barefoot University, Rajasthan. This 3-month initiative, ending in Jul '24, follows the BRICS delegation led by FLO President Sudha Shivkumar in Aug '23. Dr. Aarti Gupta, a GB member, played a key role.

Under FLO National Initiative for Handloom, Handicrafts and Textile, FLO Ahmedabad visited Muli, Surendranagar, to revive 700 year old Tangaliya Craft & Beadwork. Gaining insights about the craft from local weavers, we laid the groundwork to promote and preserve the art form.

#FLO signed an MoU with NIIT Foundation for a national #digital literacy initiative, #empowering #women and bridging the #digital divide across urban and rural India. This marks a key step in offering certified vocational training, enhancing skills and livelihoods nationwide.
