When faced with hard decisions about your softball future, ask for advice from those that care about you.

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters,” Colossians 3:23

In softball we often talk about controlling the controllables: Focus, Effort, and Attitude. Work with all your heart. Outcomes take care of themselves.

“Yours, Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the majesty and the splendor, for everything in heaven and earth is yours. Yours, Lord, is the kingdom; you are exalted as head over all.” 1 Chronicles 29:11

“Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.” 1 Peter 5:7

Softball, school, social, life, etc. Don’t put it all on yourself.

“give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” 1 Thessalonians 5:18

The disappointment may be the springboard. The obstacle may be there for you to redirect or overcome. Give thanks!

Infinitely stronger than a face mask or Evoshield.

Softball is finite. It can only give you so much.

God has given you seeds. Know what they are. Plant them. God will provide the water when it’s time.

“For he wounds, but he also binds up; he injures, but his hands also heal.”

Your injury is part of your journey. It doesn’t define you. Have faith. Believe you will heal.

Jesus felt real emotions like pain and sorrow. If God wanted you to keep those emotions bottled-up, he wouldn’t have given them to you.
