Decide tonight that tomorrow will be a good day and that this week will be a good week.

Whatever happens, good or bad, you control your response, your attitude, your perspective, your effort. You get to make it a good week.

Get your mind right and your actions will follow.

3 things your team needs from you when they are struggling:

β€’ Time with you (connect and care)
β€’ Vision (remind them of the why)
β€’ Encouragement (make it specific, stir up belief)

Lead on purpose.

We've always had SEL in schools. It was called recess, play, & classes like Music, Art, Physical Education. But they have been reduced or removed to spend more time on testing, & then we wonder why students lack social/ emotional skills & misbehavior that comes with lack of it.

To take control of your performance, you need to take control of your mind. The better you manage your thoughts, emotions, and attention, the better you’ll perform.

SARK ON CULTURE
'It is not a sign in your building. It's not a t-shirt you wear. It's not breaking the team down & saying Culture on 3 ... Who you are some of the time is who you are all of the time.'

Culture is lived out on a daily basis.
