The thing no one will tell you because it kills a whole bunch of industries: people heal in safe relationships. You want to create health, you generate learning and empowerment about how to create safe relationships.

One thing I wish I had learnt earlier: if you keep worrying about something that hasn’t happened yet, chances are it has happened but hasn’t been properly processed.

The reason that not emotionally or spiritually bypassing what is unfair, unloving, neglectful, or injurious is important is because it’s hard for us to create change if we are still in needing to bypass this or redefine it out of existence. Eg hard to get a better prison system
