Columbia are using the NYPD to place all of their students on house arrest. This is martial law being imposed on the people of New York for the benefit of a foreign government.

There was no point to this other than I think people should go see their friends’ bands play even when nobody else is gonna show up and that it’s weird to feel proud for the artist you’re ’friends’ with if you didn’t show up until there was ‘something to be proud of’

many artists are not accepted and are even put down in the early stages of being a band when you’d especially want those people there and their support. Idk. I don’t have any hostility but just wish starting artists would have more support from their close friends and family

It is incredibly weird to receive any amount of praise from select people after a certain amount of time being in a band. Family and other people that weren’t there for the come up love to talk you up once there’s something they can brag about, but it’s not lost on me that so

I stopped by UW Madison’s encampment 2.0 tonight briefly. Despite police arresting nearly 40 people & destroying the entire encampment, including hundreds of dollars worth of food, students have returned to create a bigger, better encampment w/ more ppl, including more faculty.
