Great to have SAVEBritainsHeritage voicing its objection to the loss of #RudgateBridge to National Highways 'emergency' infill scheme.
We need to respect our railway history and protect these structures so they can be part of a better future.
Time for NH to accept that reality or step away.

We understand that ownership of the much-valued bridge at Barcombe, East Sussex has been transferred to East Sussex Highways.
In 2021, it was the focus of a vigorous community campaign to prevent it being infilled by National Highways.
This move should fully lift any residual threat.
