Chilly, but dry week ahead... Brief return to south breezes push us back near 'normal' today before next good cold front tonight. We'll be down a few degrees tomorrow and have coldest day (40s) Thursday. We end the year dry and more pleasant before cooling down to start 2024!
While we enjoy quiet weather here in N TX, a deep upper level low south of Omaha is bringing blizzard conditions from NE Colorado north to Rapid City, SD where heavy snow is falling with wind gusts over 50mph!
Feeling a lot more like December this week. A reinforcing cold front pushes in Wednesday with temps taking another dip behind it. South breezes return this weekend with 60-degree temps returning. No rain expected over the next week.
Tuesday morning will be a good opportunity to wear those new winter coats! Just about everyone (save for a few warmer spots in the Metroplex) will see a freeze overnight.
