It’s our 7th year of existence, and for 2nd season in a row, WalkOffCharities will field an 18u scout team to compete in all the elite tournaments.

Really proud of these dudes. New rodeo for them, but held their own last year. Can’t wait to watch em this year.

Man is this a sobering stat. But not surprising.

Last time it happened - 1980 - I was in school there. Gators were 0-10-1 the previous fall.

Love Jags draft. Didn’t know all the guys, but love the plan:

*Big, fast WR, legit deep threat.

* 3 big, athletic, strong DLs.

* Big, physical OT.

* 2 fast CBs.

* Really fast return guy.

* Kicker.

All big school guys. Old, veteran guys.

Love it.

Here is how good Mike Norvell is at mining the portal. And then developing the players he gets:

FSU had a whopping 10 players taken in the Draft. Huge number.

9 of the 10 began their career at another school. Only Renardo Green was homegrown.

Amazing stat.

Jags did what they promised. The clear narrative was they needed to be more physical in trenches.

Added Mitch Morse, Arik Armstead in free agency. Then Smith, Foster, Jefferson, Cole in draft.

That’s six big, long, physical interior guys. Which is great.

SEC snob alert:

The Jags drafted nine players. Eight of those - the first eight - played in the SEC at some point.

Jarrian Jones (FSU) and Keilan Robinson (Texas) transferred in from SEC schools. Only final pick Myles Cole never attended an SEC school.

Kids love uniforms. If you played youth league, you remember when your uni was issued, racing home, trying it on.
