A 17-year big leaguer - 227 home runs, 429 stolen bases, career average of .272 - taking the time to talk to our WalkOffCharities Scout team.
I’d say that’s pretty good stuff.
And Reginald Johnson II so committed to the cause. Capped really good baseball weekend.
It’s our 7th year of existence, and for 2nd season in a row, WalkOffCharities will field an 18u scout team to compete in all the elite tournaments.
Really proud of these dudes. New rodeo for them, but held their own last year. Can’t wait to watch em this year.
Kids love uniforms. If you played youth league, you remember when your uni was issued, racing home, trying it on.
Man, the pride on these faces. Wearing unis they otherwise couldn’t.
Corny maybe, but THAT gives me joy. Thanks to all who donate. WalkOffCharities
My absolute favorite photo of WalkOffCharities Opening Day.
The A’s are number one. Um, unless they’re number two.
Fun opening day ceremony for our WalkOffCharities spring league. 62 teams, more than 700 players.
And all had a blast today.
I know it’s Draft Weekend, but one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen:
Marquis Grissom and other former big leaguers from The Players Alliance in town to teach our WalkOffCharities coaches the finer points of baseball coaching.
What an awesome gesture.
