I know the Republicans want to call this an 'offset' but according to the CBO, the IRA's spending for the IRS reduced the deficit (crfb.org/blogs/cbo-scor…).

They are trying to condition spending on military aid on *additional* deficit increases.

If inflation is only 3% and you raise your prices 10% but the media blames Biden when corporations do this, are you even price gouging? 🤔

As we’re learning more about the awful mass shooting in Maine, remember that Republican members of Congress wore AR-15 pins instead of the American flag on their jackets. They don’t care. They don’t try to pass effective policy. Instead, they do stuff like this.

Mike Johnson built a legal career in Louisiana opposing the basic civil rights and civil liberties of the LGBTQ+ community. Last fall, he introduced a national Don’t Say Gay Law. Voting for him as Speaker is despicable.

If Mike Johnson is elected speaker -- and that is a big if, as we all know by now -- that means the so-called 'most important architect of the Electoral College objections' will oversee the certification of the 2024 presidential election results.
