The global cargo fleet has doubled in the last 16 years– and whale & shark ship strikes mirror that trend. University of Southampton researchers outline steps the world can take to prevent “ocean roadkill,” including #WHOI 's acoustic buoys.

So many interesting point of views yesterday at IAC Paris 2022’s panel “Progress in addressing biodiversity from space”.
European Space Agency supports many international agreements like the Ramsar Convention and the Convention on Biological Diversity.
Just finished talking at IAC Paris 2022 about how we have to adapt to new climate scenarios.
With the #climatecrisis on Europe's agenda, I was glad to announce that in Nov, European Space Agency will table the new ESA climate programme (2023-2029), at the next Ministerial Council.
