So it's back to the outside world after #ciep2022 . After three years without the editribe getting together in person, the feelings of camaraderie, support and joy in each other's company were almost overwhelming. Oh, and I learned a lot as well.😏 Thanks, everyone.

Still reeling from the strange experience of walking to a CIEP Official local group meeting last night! The North West group had a one-off meeting here in Chester – now that's what I call 'local'😀. Thanks to Karen Jones and the others (non-Twitterers?) for an enjoyable evening.

In Shrewsbury after my first in-person CIEP Official local group meeting in well over two years 👍. Zoom is better than nothing, and it kept the groups going when it was the only option, but it can't match sitting around a table with other editors.

Finally booked an in-person place at #ciep2022 , CIEP Official's hybrid conference in September. Can't wait to see some editing colleagues in real life after all this time ...
