I am following events in Georgia closely. Excessive use of force by police against peaceful protesters in Tbilisi is not in line with democratic values and risks Georgia’s Euro-Atlantic aspirations. I urge the authorities to exercise restraint.

We continue to watch unfolding events very closely.

The people of Georgia are loud and clear in their wish to become members of Euro-Atlantic family. Their voices must be heard. Their right to peaceful protest must be respected

13 days and 1784km by bicycle across 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 - from Land’s End to John O’Groats. Reconnecting with people places and nature, exploring myself and my country. Thanks to many who supported me.

After 7 days cycling across 🇬🇧, I’ve covered 917km through Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, Monmouthshire 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿, Herefordshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Derbyshire and Yorkshire. Stunning scenery in every county. But not even half way to my destination in 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 ….. Wish me strength! 🚴

So far I’ve completed four days and 515km of my charity cycle across the UK - that’s just under 1/3 of the way. I’ve visited Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, Monmouthshire (🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿) and Herefordshire. Thank you to all my sponsors, and I hope I can keep the pace up. 🚴 💨
