Can I tempt you in some 18th century Portable Soup?

Also known as pocket soup, soup squares & veal glue. To make it for yourself, reduce meat broth to a gluey consistency. Cut the jelly you get into squares, then dry. Later add boiling water & enjoy at your convenience.
