Micheal MacLiammoir as Hamlet and Eithne Dunne as Ophelia in 1952, Sorcha Cusack and Frank Grimes as Romeo and Juliet in 1971 2/4

Twelfth Night from 1988, the cast of A Midsummer Night's Dream in 1993, and Stephen Brennan, Tara Little, Hilary Reynolds, and Darragh Kelly from Romeo and Juliet 1991. 3/4

Daryl McCormack, John Dornan, Ruth McGill, Fra Free and Lauren Coe in Romeo and Juliet in 2015.

Finally, Ruth Negga as Hamlet in 2018, directed by yaël farber. Ruth has just been nominated as 'Outstanding Actress' in the 65th Drama Desk Awards. Kate Pakenham
