Today we celebrate Cesar Chavez Day commemorating the life of one of California’s own, a true American hero who fundamentally changed the lives of California farmworkers, as a groundbreaking activist and civil rights leader, and ignited a movement that spread across the country.

Great editorial today by the Southern California News Group, supporting our More Pathways to Nursing legislation, which would create a pilot program for community colleges to offer bachelor’s of nursing Degrees.

This coming Tuesday, March 26th is my office’s last office hours to help students complete the FAFSA and CADAA applications. Our staff will be available to assist applicants 4:00 pm-7:00 pm, by appointment only on a first come first served basis.
