Around 25% of women diagnosed with breast cancer in Ireland are between 20-50 leaving them outside of the screening age.

By extending the age of screening for breast cancer, countless women would be able to avail of early diagnosis which allows for a much better prognosis.

A large crowd of protesters gathered in Clare today to demonstrate against the use of Shannon Airport by the US Military. Hundreds of people from major anti-war organisations and the Ireland/Palestine Solidarity Campaign turned out to show support.
