After playing Stray and now being 80 hours into @cyberpunkgame I decided to revisit a classic anthology of the genre.

What really strikes me is how strange the genre was before it solidified into a style. I really do think we need to make cyberpunk weird again.

It really is ok to just say 'horror' rather than getting caught up in all the equivocations of 'literary horror', 'horror-infused literary debuts', 'a literary coming-of-age story that also happens to be about a mother and daughter who eat people' etc.

Encouraging re sales of horror novels, but business could be better for small presses specialising in short stories.
