On this #DayofNoSilence , I promise to always speak up for our LGBTQ kids and Wisconsinites and veto any bill that affects their ability to be safe, valued, supported, and welcome being who they are.

Nearly 11 months since Sen. Kelda Roys warned the PFAS trust fund was imaginary without JFC GOP approval. Our colleagues are still living in pure imagination. No remediation for Wisconsinites if Republicans refuse to provide the DNR with resources to serve the people.

Nobody should have to choose between their life-saving medication and paying their rent. Thanks to President Biden, Sen. Tammy Baldwin, and the #InflationReductionAct , folks don't have to. Some Wisconsinites are seeing savings of $287 or even $2,576.

That's more money back in your pocket.

It has been 280 days since the budget was signed, and communities have still not received any assistance from the PFAS Trust Fund. This is unacceptable, and I hope my Republican colleagues on the Joint Finance Committee will take action and protect our water.

Trempealeau has been hit hard by flooding along the Mississippi River over the years, so it was great to be back to sign a bill creating a new pre-disaster flood resilience grant program to help families and communities prevent flood damage and give them a little peace of mind.
