The University of Minnesota Dance Team added two more trophies to the dynasty this year. I was honored to host them for a reception to thank them for representing Minnesota so well on the national stage. Go Gophers!

Al Shaver was truly the voice of hockey in Minnesota, announcing North Stars games for all 26 of their seasons. Gwen and I are sending our love to his family, friends, and the State of Hockey.

I just announced Minnesota has secured over $60 million in federal funding to deliver solar power – helping families save on energy costs while creating clean energy jobs.

One big thing our 2024 Infrastructure Plan would do? Update the Minneapolis Veterans Home to better serve those who have served us.

This session, we’re backing the development of multifamily housing so that seniors, families, and young people can find a safe and affordable place to call home.

This year alone, we opened the doors to new veterans homes in Bemidji, Montevideo, and Preston.
 
We have a responsibility to ensure Minnesota’s aging veterans receive the care and services they need. Let’s keep up the good work.

We know that targeting illegal sales is an approach that works – since passing legislation aimed at catalytic converter theft, we’ve seen theft of vehicle parts decline by 80%.
