ITV London Sickle Cell Society This should have never happened in this day and age. I am shocked and angry that this can still happen in a hospital in London in 2019. How embarrassing for medical staff and the hospital to admit ignorance about Sickle Cell Disease and lack of care. Shame on you all!
An honour to speak on behalf of Sickle Cell Society in this tragic and entirely preventable death of Evan Smith. Mr sincere condolences to Evan’s parents, family and friends. May God give his parents the fortitude bear his loss #evansmith ITV
