Big pressure on children’s authors and illustrators this week! Just a reminder that you’re still a children’s author or illustrator and there are kids out there who LOVE your books whether you’ve no bookings, one booking or a million bookings! Don’t compare yourself to others!

This is so true. I know many children’s writers and illustrators are struggling, taking part or full time jobs to survive, but whose passion is strong and who as much part of this community as those who are inundated with offers from publishers, agents and for school visits etc.

The silence of the many illustration, children's books & literary orgs on P@lestine is SO LOUD.

They ALL issued solidarity statements for Ukraine along with fundraising & creative features. Any preach of 'diversity & inclusion' & humanity going forward from them is meaningless.
