As we approach Seder and the re-telling of one of the finest stories in our tradition, it feels fitting to launch the Jewish Children’s Book Awards 24/25. Yes we made a cake and it’s not kosher for pesach so enjoy your last metaphorical chametz feast before Pesach!

Pesach puns needed please! Next year we are publishing a new book by Jamie Kiffel-Alcheh illustrated by Menahem Halberstadt and the opening spread shows New York shop fronts. Any ideas for great Pesach store names? Things like Alfie Koman's Grocery and Fair O's Bargain Box...
We are thrilled to see Michael's interview in this week's The Jewish Chronicle where he discusses with Elisa Bray the importance of accessibility and diversity in children's books and Green Bean Book's new book 'This is My Shabbat' which is available now in braille.

Day four kicked off with meeting Devora Busheri author of The Donkey and The Garden. Followed by a meet with illustrator aviel basil proudly displaying the newly published 'This is My Shabbat.' Next up a catch up Professor Yirmi Pinkus over sumptious sachertorte 1/2
Lunch on day 3 was at the delicious Meatos with Yael Molchadsky of Kinneretz Mora and the final coffee of the day (got to keep going somehow!) was with author and translator Galina Vromen.
