Kelemen Szabó is the new Choir Director at Griffin Middle School! He holds a Bachelor’s in Choral Music Education from the University of North Texas, where he also studied classical/jazz piano, jazz voice, and jazz guitar.

Anna McGraw is overjoyed to be teaching at Griffin Middle School this year! She is a recent graduate of Texas Tech University. She can’t wait to meet all of her 6th grade ILA students.

NCA Camp was a huge success for our Gator Cheerleaders! Awards: Top Team Cheer & Chant, Technical Excellence in tumbling & motions, and several leadership awards!! All American: Hadley H, Taylen M, Jade K, Lexi B, Bailey C, Cassidy S, Grace H, and Top All American: Jacie F!!

My name is Savannah Holcomb, and I am excited to continue to teach 7th grade Science! I graduated from the University of Arkansas with a degree in Human Environmental Science, Human Development & Family Sciences.

Our librarian, Mrs. Leffel, got to tour the Frisco Public Library with the Library and Media Services Department this week. It looks like she had fun. #loveourlibrarian

Our 8th graders had the opportunity to attend the rockin aloha pep rally for Lone Star HS! Lots of fun!

Griffin's tennis team did amazing at the District Tournament! These players all finished in the top four of their draws:
Isabella N- 2nd Place in Girls B Singles
Soluchi N./Sage R.- 4th in A Girls Doubles,
Tanav M.- 1st Place in Boys A Singles as a 7th Grader!

We’re closer Gators, but still need to reach zero! Library overdue notices went home today. If the book is lost or damaged, please purchase a replacement copy and bring it to the library to clear the student account.

Thank you to Corbridge Orthodontics for honoring our very own, Ms. Daugherty. Dr. Corbridge had students write letters thanking their teachers, and Ms. Daugherty had multiple students write to her. They gave her a gift basket to honor her for all she does. Way to go!

At the annual FISD End of Year Coaches Meeting our very own Coach Beran was named the Middle School Boys Athletic Coordinator of the Year! We are so proud of him!

The theater production of “Check Please” was amazing! Great job Griffin Theater!
