Great meeting with the leaders of the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities in NY!
I’m proud to have secured funding for their STEM programs, increases in Pell Grant awards, and of course our work to #CancelStudentDebt .
We're going to keep fighting for our HSIs!
Great having students from Pima Community College and @cochisecollege here with @HACUnews, advocating for our Hispanic-Serving Institutions. As a graduate of a HSI and co-chair of the HSI caucus in congress I know just how crucial these colleges & universities are in our communities.
