There are few things more beautiful than leaves unfolding in spring. We take a special joy in things that are new, young and fresh. And a sadness in knowing we will not be those things again. They are also unformed, fragile, ephemeral. And we are not. That feels pretty good too!

often shows up when we least expect it - and it almost never looks the way we thought it would. If we can alert our staff as to what to look out for, and to the kinds of support that are available - then we can help stop things escalating.

It's a busy, stressful time in schools and and can make all that tougher. So here's a reminder - laughter creates a cascade of feel-good chemicals in the brain, that helps combat stress and all the other weird hormonal stuff.
