In January, #TrustedGuardians from The Household Cavalry conducted pre-deployment training for operations abroad.
This included being petrol-bombed to build confidence in their training and equipment and to simulate possible situations.

Last week, A Squadron were training with their colleagues from the UN Flight in Cyprus. 

A Squadron regularly work with international partners in the UN to maintain peace on Cyprus, as part of the UK’s longest-standing contribution to peacekeeping.

From 0430 wake-ups to late night cleaning sessions, all ranks within the regiment put time and effort into being as smart as possible for the King!

This week #TrustedGuardians took part in a UN Peacekeeping Skills Competition in Cyprus.

Over the 12 hours of competition, the teams ran an endurance race, completed a variety of general knowledge tests, conquered command tasks and an assault course.
